7 minutes walk from Hankyu Railway "Karasuma" Station
Easy way to get to ground level by escalator
Get off at Hankyu "Karasuma" station. Exit through the central ticket gate. After exiting the ticket gate, turn left and go in the opposite direction. You will see Exit 20 on the left before the underground passage slope.
Please proceed through the underground passage at Exit 20.
The entrance to the Kyoto Mitsui Building is Exit 20.
There is an escalator up six steps.
Take the escalator to the ground floor
If you take two escalators you will reach ground level in no time.
We went up to the arcade on Shijo Street.

This is an arcade. Turn left and proceed east.
You will see Daimaru on your left.
Once you reach ground level, the fourth street is Yanagi-no-Baba Street.
Turn left onto Yanagi-no-Baba Street.
The familiar Starbucks Coffee sign is the landmark of Yanagihara Street.
Turn left around the corner and you're almost there.
You can see Nishiki Market.
You will see the roof of "Nishiki Market", known as "Kyoto's Kitchen" and loved by locals and tourists alike. Please refrain from shopping for a moment and walk straight for 50 meters.

Yanagi-no-Baba Street is a one-way street heading north.
If you are coming from Shijo Street,
Go east from Shijo Karasuma intersection
Turn left onto Yanagi-no- Baba Street .
Or, take Yanagi-no-Baba Street from Shijo Street.
It's easier to start from the south and head north.
